About Sean Emerson

I'm a 28year old parts admin with a passion for food, art, flavour, and trying new things. I love to cook, making things from scratch if I can. I have to eat gluten free, so it's given me an excuse to bring out the skills I have and eat as deliciously as I can in the comfort of my own home. I went to cooking school when I was younger, but didn't manage to finish the program. I ended up back in the industry as a line cook for a bit, but have mostly experimented as a hobby at home - foisting many dishes on my friends. I've spent many hours in the kitchen or watching any cookingshow I could get my eyes on. Iron chef kicks ass! This year i've taken a challenge upon myself to update my blog at least once a week, with food i've made from scratch. I can't promise you exact measurements, because I don't use recipes. Some will be based on when I remember making them years ago in school, and others on innovation or research on a specific subject. I'm not going to guarantee I won't try someone elses recipe, but I sure as hell will credit them!

Kale Chips Video

Hello Everybody! I have some bonus content for you, I made a quick and easy 30 second video of how to make kale chips. Remember- Stem the kale, chop to bite sized, toss in oil with salt and spice. 300f, 20-25 minutes until crispy. Hope you enjoy! Sean Emerson
